My door opening unit is about 13 years old. I had this programmed for my door in less than 30 seconds. Works like a charm.

This is a great product for my needs. I ride motorcycles and this little guy fits nicely in my pocket and doesn’t get in the way. Matter of fact I hardly notice its there till I get home. I recommend this to anyone who has a Genie unit and wants a simple, straight forward opener.

The only thing they left out is this: if you move into a house, and the garage door opener looks kind of old, this remote probably won’t work for you. It’s right there in the instructions: “Older Transmitters and Receivers will not work with these new electronics. There are no Security Code Switches inside the Door Operators, Transmitters and Receivers.” They don’t say it on the Amazon page where you see the remote. It’s just nowhere on that page. I had to order it to find out.

Also, as an editor, I don’t see why so many nouns were capitalized. The instructions must have been written by someone who doesn’t write in English very often…Thumbs down.

the item was promplty delivered and is very easy to setup. no more opening the garage door manually:)
